HISTORY
for the past 24 years The Dive Shop has been owned and operated by the same personal. It was opened in 1987 in the 5 Points Mall in Bountiful. In addition to being the foremost scuba school in Utah, The Dive Shop also has a "quality, not quantity" attitude when it comes to dive training. We have been in business for 24 years and we are the most complete dive store in Utah. After you purchase an item from us, you may come in and try it out to see if it fits right. Any one of our experienced and knowledgeable Instructors: John Boynton and Robert Stell will assist you in all areas of your scuba diving experience. TRAVEL
Memories start with travel to exotic locations with your friends from The Dive Shop. The discriminating diver will enjoy diving remote coral reefs, walls, wrecks, or diving with interesting aquatic life. Not all travel is strictly diving. Locations around the world offer sites, cultures and people that make travel with The Dive Shop exciting. Passport members can be found diving somewhere in the world every month. The Dive Shop travel is making friends around the world and this friendship last a lifetime.

SERVICE
To maintain and repair the equipment sold is an expectation of the customer and is a requirement of The Dive Shop. On site technicians can repair or perform scheduled maintenance on all makes sold at the shop. The Dive Shop even has experience and certification to service makes they don't sell.

The Dive Shop has a complete selection of equipment to help the sport scuba enthusiast to the technical levels of diving. All this equipment means nothing without the helpful and experienced staff to assist you in making the correct equipment purchase.

The Dive Shop is committed to promoting scuba diving in the community as well as ecological projects around the world. The Dive Shop is involved with EcoSeal, an environmental advocate and watchdog. The shop has also been involved with the Oceanic Project, teaching local search and rescue groups, MDA summer camps, and is a member of Divers Alert Network. Members of the staff have been teaching for many years and have sat on advisory boards, including being published in scuba training materials and trade journals.
